It depends on where you are on the highway, that's all. At the closest convenient starting point, zero the Trip B odometer. I try to do this at a round number that is a multiple of ten so that it is easier to remember, but if you write it down, just use any whole number marker as your starting point.
Then drive as far as you need to on the highway, the farther the better; so obviously this is best done when you are actually going someplace. After you have driven 25 or 30 miles at least, note the number the Trip B odometer displays at the moment you pass that whole number marker, and write down the actual distance traveled vs the distance registered on the odometer.
Does this makes sense?

Yes, it did help some. I can say this because at first one was too wide and misaligned, and FE and coasting got better when I fixed it.
Mine are probably not as long as they should be, but I think that filling in part of the "void" is better than none. Also, they form part of the Kamm back.
If I ever get around to remaking the rear belly pan I had earlier, I'll have it stick out a little beyond the rear bumper to form more of the Kamm back.
You are already doing very well -- our chassis and drivetrain are virtually the same. What are your RPM's at say 65MPH?

Thanks -- 100kph is 62mph so that means your overall gearing is substantially taller than my xA. At about 65MPH my RPM's are ~3500. Sheesh...
Do you happen to know the final drive ratio? I'm guessing it is 3.56:1. Mine is 4.31:1 which is just silly.

For my manual transmission 2006 xA, what should I set cutoff to? With my foot off the gas, TPS reads 10. When I changed cutoff from 24 to 14, I didn't notice any difference in when I was seeing 9999mpg. I am only on my first tank - will this change once I calibrate after the next tank?
If I'm coasting in neutral (engine on), I would think it should not show 9999mpg since engine is idling? Should it ever show 9999? (I won't do EOC - I think it's too dangerous.)

The TPS minimum on my 2005 xA is 12, so the cutoff may be different as well. I have the Cutoff set at 15.
