Haven't listened yet...
Reminds me of someone's comment on another forum that Trump rioters were there to "Stop Biden's win".
I pointed out that not a single person was there to stop Biden's win, but instead to "stop the steal". That isn't to say that I see it the way they do, but if you're going to attribute motive, you might as well attempt to attribute it accurately.
The guy is one of those hook-line-and-sinker type that frenzy on whatever chum the lamestream media puke into the water. Thinking is hard, so I'll offload it to others. You know, the Kathy Newman type.
...listening now. He's on one of my favorite subjects, the absurdity of preparing a meal. I'd have more free time if I snared the deer in my yard, rendered the meat, and cooked dinner, than everything involved in getting food from the store and ending up with a meal on a plate. The whole thing is an expensive stupid waste of time.

"I try to think, but nothing happens" -- Curly [Stooge}
I was thinking about his current posture when I woke up from a nap, and I settled on 'talkiing out of both sides of [his] mouth'.
Garrison is now a competent cartoonist.

DarkHorse is on my "play every episode" list.
I'd say anyone that wants to have better opinions should have some understanding of evolutionary biology and economics. People don't want better opinions though, they want more influence.
As the Hagar the Horrible cartoonist always says, people decide first, and then rationalize.

He should like their response -- it's all about process over goal.
I'm concerned that he thought the Chynese balloon might be crewed. You can size it from the solar panels.

I'm not seeing a new podcast. I listened to the one on Saturday and they mentioned SA then. Generally it's one every Saturday unless Brett has a guest on.
Scott always sounds dumb when he comments on things he has no knowledge on. Then again, considering any thing leads to lots of dumb consideration. I can get past the dumb stuff to hear the novel smart stuff.

Episode 2013 Scott Adams: Climate Hoax Explained, State Of The Union Graded, New Printer Destroyed was pretty good.
I learned that 'dampening variable' is an analog for 'fudge factor'. Apparently Chenk Ugyur was red-pilled by the State of the Union address. The white boards explain why climate change is off the table. Peer review reduces the truth.
OTOH, clickbait -- he doesn't destory his new $500 printer.

There's no political currency in a level-headed, rational, measured approach. You can't get people to quickly shovel their liberty into the hands of a Great Leader playing that game. You've got to be convinced that you're teetering on the edge of a cliff before you'll hand over the most important thing you've been endowed with.
Did you catch the part about POTUS saying the domestic fossil fuel industry needs to invest billions in infrastructure, because we're still going to need it for 10 more years? I guess we can't expect a career politician to understand how markets work, or incentives.
Scott's observation about time being too valuable as you get older to monkey with things seems mostly right. The other thing is I have less and less interest to figure extremely obscure things out just to solve a little issue. That said, it's foolish to take out frustration on the hardware when it's a software issue. Guess it isn't as satisfying to delete an application.
I'll have to listen to Chenk, because he doesn't seem like the type that would accept even what his own eyes were seeing given the depth of his ideological possession.
We've known the scholarly process has been broken for some time. Just look at the Peter Boghossian Grievance Study experiments where he exposes how corrupt the gatekeepers of knowledge have become ideologically possessed. Rather than thank him for finding a problem in need of solving, they turn to cancel him. Hey, the problem goes away by killing the messenger!

I don't buy the boomer bashing. That's the generation that created Internet and cryptocurrency. Frustration about needless complication is understandable.

Richard Stallman, like Ted Kazinski, was right. Prophets rub people the wrong way.
His complaint about advertising is mooted by running Chromium under the Raspberry OS. Chromium under Ubuntu still shows the ads.

That's what makes it newsworthy, if true.
