Russia is having logistic and control problems because nobody dares to say NO to putin for long.

If you ain't there to argue your counter point, you lost the arguement.

Something I completely agree with -- A social media AI that is simpatico, and persuasively eases the invaders to a Strict Constitutionalist mindset.

The news should periodically deceive the consumer by changing the subjects around, and at a later time make the correct subject known. The idea is to see if one has the same level of outrage when it was their team that committed the act rather than the evil other team.

The whole point is to have emotional reactions to news and then be confronted with the 'shoe on the other foot' perspective to see if the tune changes if the story was actually about Biden, rather than Trump, for example. What if the person was actually white, not black?

It forces one to be confronted by their moral duplicity driven by tribal allegiance, and hopefully retrain them to evaluate the facts dispassionately rather than being assigned an opinion by their team.

All tribes contain strengths and weaknesses. Belonging to a tribe is no reason to dismiss weaknesses. I'd argue that identifying tribal weakness is at least as important as identifying the other tribes weakness.

Pretending idiocy is great, and holding double-standards for behavior is the surest way to demise.

Have you ever considered dear old Tim Leary's Eight-circuit Brain?
Quote:
Eight-circuit model of consciousness
The eight-circuit model of consciousness is a holistic model originally presented as psychological philosophy by Timothy Leary in books including Neurologic and Exo-Psychology, later expanded on by Robert Anton Wilson in his books Cosmic Trigger and Prometheus Rising, and by Antero Alli in his books Angel Tech and The Eight-Circuit Brain, that suggests "eight periods [circuits]" within the model. Wikipedia
I've read the ones bolded. If you do, you find that Tribalism is a Third-circuit level. One above family, one below nation-state.

I tuned in today during Scott's 'Boomer' display of contempt for technology. I'm not of that era, but share his contempt for gadgetry that fails to perform for someone possessing 135+ IQ.

After that mess, I returned to the regular program that discussed the absolute absurdity of the notion that someone would target the death of an individual by casually being filmed by the public.

It's what I've been saying from the very beginning. While I don't condone catastrophic incompetency, neither do I abide in lies. One can be against both, because they aren't mutually exclusive ideas.

I do enjoy a free SA. If only everyone embraced freedom of thought, and the tolerance of diversity of ideas. The authoritarians will not have it.
