Apparently DDG supports Antifa and BLM riots and looting.
Maybe I'm reading too much into it, and the guy just values privacy over all other things that can be valued (like non-violence, or securing private property).
If I owned DDG, I'd encourage people to use Chrome during their rioting to take advantage of the fastest search results, and then share the videos on Youtube to get the most likes from your friends.
...and I'll just drop this here too:

Attributing a Forbes.com link to DuckDuckGo? They aren't making that news common sense, just reporting it.

Kayliegh 'the Hammer' McEnany just gave her concluding statement — 476 arrested so far.

elemental.medium.com: A Supercomputer Analyzed Covid-19 — and an Interesting New Theory Has Emerged
A closer look at the Bradykinin hypothesis
This is interesting.
Back when I had the Covid-like symptoms (and shook them), the medical establishment refused to discuss the theory that it is a blood-borne disease that precipitates iron out of hemoglobin and it collects in both lungs.
Now AI is telling us it is a vascular disease
Quote:
As bradykinin builds up in the body, it dramatically increases vascular permeability. In short, it makes your blood vessels leaky. This aligns with recent clinical data, which increasingly views Covid-19 primarily as a vascular disease, rather than a respiratory one. But Covid-19 still has a massive effect on the lungs. As blood vessels start to leak due to a bradykinin storm, the researchers say, the lungs can fill with fluid. Immune cells also leak out into the lungs, Jacobson’s team found, causing inflammation.
And Covid-19 has another especially insidious trick. Through another pathway, the team’s data shows, it increases production of hyaluronic acid (HLA) in the lungs. HLA is often used in soaps and lotions for its ability to absorb more than 1,000 times its weight in fluid. When it combines with fluid leaking into the lungs, the results are disastrous: It forms a hydrogel, which can fill the lungs in some patients. According to Jacobson, once this happens, “it’s like trying to breathe through Jell-O.”
|
And this is interesting as it applies to me:
Quote:
By acting like a natural ACE inhibitor, Covid-19 may be causing the same effects that hypertensive patients sometimes get when they take blood pressure–lowering drugs. ACE inhibitors are known to cause a dry cough and fatigue, two textbook symptoms of Covid-19.
|
I thought the dry cough was from using a one-hitter.

Sent the family away and making a stand here.
Don't know how close the flames are, but ash is coming down.
The sun is visible (noon) in this photo.
Fire repellent.

I need to reinstall the single-passenger camping interior in the Superbeetle.
I went upriver on Wednesday and stacked firewood (only slightly sore for two days). Today it's in Zone Two.
Stay safe.

As above, so below:
Think not? Today is a Cosmic Ray Health Alert day. Shields are down. One of the things affected is cognition.

Most people worry. My character flaw is I'm only capable of getting more excited/interested.
In my haste to erect fire suppression on the roof, I sped down "Danger Hill" to the hardware store. Of course, I wrecked and this time landed on my hip instead of feet. I'm back to barely hobbling around, which makes walking around on the roof interesting.
Here's what it looked like this morning. Visibility is gone at around 1,000 ft.

I'm not a fan of DIY firefighting once the fire gets over a certain size. Keep one eye on an escape.
