Remember nowadays there is the so-called "assymetrical wars" or "4th-generation wars", and that's what China is seemingly raging against unsuspecting countries. So, considering the recent incidents, it seems like China is trying to hide something quite relevant.

Of course China is using their diplomatic facilities to spy and influence. So does the US. So does every country everywhere. I believe I read about it in the international relations journal DUH. But even if they weren't spying on us, if they had to evacuate the consulate because of a horrible hurricane coming in, they'd leave with pockets stuffed full of hard drives and burn tons of paper before they left- because even if we weren't rivals, even if we didn't have spying problems, a trade war and military tensions, they'd have secrets to protect.

I'd date it to when actors unknown lobbed a missile toward Hawai'i and Rocket Boy realized his toys were a liability.

The Whidbey Island missile was also suspicious. www.dailydot.com/debug/whidbey-island-missile-air-force-one/

This is how you know that wearing a mask is about control and nothing else.

D.C. Mask Mandate Exempts Lawmakers and Government Employees

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2...ent-employees/

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser’s (D) most recent mask mandate, which orders three-year-olds to cover their faces, exempts lawmakers and government employees while they are “on duty.”

Under the new Mayor’s Order on masks, people must wear a mask when they leave their homes if they are likely to come into contact with another person for more than a fleeting moment,” the mayor’s office states.

While masking mandates across the nation, and in D.C., typically contain several exceptions — exempting the disabled, those who are actively eating, drinking, and people who are “vigorously” exercising — a closer look at Bowser’s executive action shows that the order does not apply to lawmakers, judges, or government employees while they are “on duty.”

“The enforcement provisions of this Order shall not be applied to persons in the judicial or legislative branches of the District government while those persons are on duty; and shall not apply to any employees of the federal government while they are on duty,” the order states.

The Metropolitan Police Department is authorized to enforce the order on all of those ages 18 and older. Violators can be fined up to $1,000.

The mayor’s mask mandate is in effect until at least October 9, 2020.

Rules for thee...Not for me...

My favorite communist country is Việt Nam. Not only because I was there and like the people, but because they are leery of their neighbor to the North. (war in 1979, SARS1 in 2002)

Does there need to be a conspiracy or a New World Order power grab under every rock?

I would imagine the DC city government does not have authority over federal personnel who are on duty, being under federal control itself. And with that limited control they have over themselves, the Mayor probably has no authority over the judicial and legislative parts of the City government. Makes perfect sense to me.
