Well, even if I don't go east or get any more gas for it this year, the car will still be "contributing' for quite a while - the latest tank won't drop off the 90-day stats until around the first of Nov!

1141 miles and counting. The needle is past the white E line and onto the red E line.

I'm taking this one all the way. I just filled my 2 gallon gas can this morning, it's in the trunk for when I run out. With school-year routes and traffic and cooler/cold weather, I only get one shot at a great tank each year. Even then I'll only run it dry if I can beat my record. After this tank, that just might be never, so I'm going as far as I can.

Congrats PaleMelanesian
How much longer do you think you have? Could it go to 1200?

On another note, I thought I'd use this time to announce that I have joined Team Honda. I recently purchased a 2000 Honda Insight MT, and I love it. I'm getting rid of my 2004 Chevy Aveo AT, and with my new car comes a new username (I used to be known as Aveomiler). I'm excited about the potential of this car, and I shouldn't let you guys down since this is the most fuel-efficient production car ever sold in America without a plug. I'm also new to stick, have broken 100 mpg on a 4 and 12-mile trip (that was with perfect driving conditions), and unfortunately, won't be driving too often (my first full tank might not even be until next year). I'm looking forward to this competition. Now let's go crush Team Metro! (no offense, MetroMPG. And thanks again for changing my username)
