Thanks for that info. Is there anything I need to know about putting it into my Civic? Transmission wise or other?

Well, I would be fronting more knowledge than I have if I tried to definitively answer that question. But I do think that the 4th gen civics had cable clutches, while the 5th had hydraulic. ANd the fourth had a cable speedometer, while the 5th got the electonic one. I compiled this comparative guide on engines/transmissions and it might help you in some respects: http://ecomodder.com/forum/showthrea...tml#post378478

Blah

Sounds like I might be better going with a rebuild. The guy earlier hit it head on, my apologies. My motor is worn out. I'm thinking if I can fix the fueling issue, I might just wring the last few miles out of it. IDK

Is it hurting our average by not uploading MPG updates? I'd rather wait until I get it running right because I'm running in the 19 MPG area

Holy cow! Good work. How's the weather in your neck of the woods? We've had Old Man Winter giving us a preview of coming attractions lately in Winnipeg. Howling winds and cold temps and a dusting of snow. Last tank was only 44mpg. Ack.

Thanks! The weather is starting to be pretty cold and we had some light snow last week and today. Next tank will be considerably lower .

Bought a stock airbox and steering wheel today. Also plan to clean the injectors too. Hopefully it helps out

Speaking of air box's... I'm planning on purchasing a stock air box for a 5th gen civic for my VX, which has a cold air on it right now (bought it that way). The air box comes with the bigger diameter intake tube on it though. I was wondering if the smaller diameter intake tube that came on the VX's is necessary or if I could use the big one without any issues?

Thanks
