I was just looking at the team standings and noticed I'd slipped from 16th to 21st! Not too much I can do as the temps slide down towards winter. I'm taking it as a personal challenge to stay above Darin though! He's 22nd and breathing down my neck!

Don't worry too much, you'd be in the top 5 of every other team...

I seem to be on my way to the bottom of the list. My mileage is plummeting and I don't know why.

I recently switched to new, LRR tires from mismatched, cheap tires. I was expecting a slight boost here. The weather has gotten colder... but I'm looking at 34mpg on this tank, which is about 10 mpg down from typical mileage for these conditions last year. No error codes, no weird driving behavior.

Don't feel too bad. I lower my team avg mpg quite a bit. But I do raise the % above EPA.

I was actually really surprised with my mpg drop. I had battery and alternator problems and I had to jump my car multiple times and let it idle multiple times and the tank dropped by 4mpg. Plus having colder weather, but I don't think it's even gotten to freezing yet.

I replaced the alternator and battery on my CRX and found that the battery was in the car for 13years!!!!! That's insane!

Filled up. Some of this tank was "blind" while my Scangauge was in for an update.

668 miles
11.571 gal
57.7 mpg

Drops my average a lot, sending me from #6 in the team down to #13. I'm out of the overall Top 10 mpg and down one place on the Top 10 epa.

Hmmm... Maybe I'll toss the UG for a week and see if I wind up with 57.

Thanks to a deer that ran out in front of me, I won't have a cold weather tank to log for a while. I braked hard enough to blow a rusty brake line. Still managed to tap the deer in the leg. While looking at the brake lines, I noticed the torn CV boot and ball joint boots. The Nut Wagon has been on jack stands for a couple of weeks with almost a full tank.

Oh, that's terrible. I'm sorry. Good luck with all that.

At least you managed to slow enough to minimize the damage and you're ok.
