Oh man! The stock airbox really smoothed out the idle. Can't wait to see the effect on MPG

Woot Woot!! Finally found the relay for the fuel injectors (don't laugh - It's pretty well hidden ) and hooked up a switch to cut ground. Gotta say, it's gonna be so more awesome than using the key. I'll finish up the install tomorrow, but for now it functions!

62.xx mpg last tank. Meh. Same old same old in this car. Anyone ever get bored with their eco-mod ride after a few years? I've been driving this same car since 2001. Been modding it since 2011. I like it, but I do get bored, and lately a little distracted. Neighbor got a shinny Tesla Model S. And I'm seeing those BMW electrics around.

Gotta slap myself with reminders of deprecation, car loan payments, insurance payments, registration renewals... I would lose tens of thousands in just three years' time!

Well, I never got the mount built, so I kept tradition and used black tape to tape it to the gear shifter. You know, for the time being.

Hmm, so according to lexunexis, TN doesn't require mirrors of any sort on a car

I'm baaaaaack....

Good news! I just re-joined Team Honda with the Firefly's winter stunt double.

Bad news! I just lowered the team average.

Good news! I think I have the best MPG of this generation Civic (non-hybrid) in the EM garage!

Bad news! It's going to be very tough to improve my MPG at this time of year.
