Change can take several forms: Enlist those with lower mileage, jump off the list, adjust the nut behind the wheel, or the most fun option--ecomod-it!

Cheers,
Benphyr.

Spending a lot of time on the nut adjustment to good effect. Also spending lots of time reading about various mod techniques and will install some soon. All fun, that is for sure.

New fill.

61 mpg / 715 miles.

I swapped places with (now below) Gasoline Fumes' War Wagon in Team Honda, the Top 10 mpg and in the Top 10 % EPA.

Hey! I just realized I can re-join Team Honda.... If you'll have me.

I'll probably be getting around 50 mpg US (or a bit under in the depths of winter) in my 2007 "winter beater" Civic 5-speed.

One of these days soon I'll set up a garage entry and start a fuel log.

Well, After seeing I was instantly at the #4 position in Team Honda and realizing I had knocked Black & Green out of the top ten (a guy who's squeezing 116% over EPA out of his car), I quit the team. Man, I can't do that to you guys who are actually working your asses off to get there!

I wouldn't worry about that. It's a competition, but it's a friendly competition.

And you'd counter what my current commute is doing to my mileage. The steep hills and stop signs have pulled my high 40mpg average to the low 40's.

Come on, Cowmeat, your job isn't to make us low-mpg cars feel good about our own mileage. It's actually good to be surrounded b people that make my mileage look bad!

Thanks. Glad to be here. I've read about 8 pages so far.

I'm gonna need some help from you guys this afternoon after work. Just bought my car this week, and first commute this morning. It's not going well as for mpg....
