Will do!

Got 37.5 on the last tank, woohoo! Thats just bellow my best during the heat of the summer, 37.8. I'd say the aero mods are working quite well.
I've also updated Little Blue's profile so you can see what mods are done and whats coming etc...

Guess what i'm doing this weekend! That's incredible.

Also. Trans fluid is shot. Took a look at it. Not running engine or anything but its black. It wasn't even shifting past first at one point today.

This could be a sign of internal damage... I hate to bring bad news to a fellow ecomodder - but every time I've seen black fluid in a ford tranny, changing it was a waste of money, b/c the tranny went out immediately afterward. (within a few thou miles.)

The ZX2 trans is a solid unit, pretty durable. Unfortunatly, if no one ever changed the fluid before you, then it don't matter how solid it is.
I was wondering, from your description of how it was shifting, if you weren't expiriencing some trans problems. If it's any encouragement at all, I got my trans out of a U-pull it yard for $65, only 44k miles on it. It was quite a find, and I got it about 6 months before mine finally went out. Not every U-pull it is that cheap and you must be blessed by God to find a low mile car. It took me 6hr's by myself to pull the trans and 12hr's on my patio to replace it, again by myself. These cars are easy to work on. Of course I've been working on cars for quite some time, so easy is relative to your expirience level. You should be able to find a trans from a junk yard for around $200 if they pull it for you. Less than $100 if you do it yourself. I wouldn't suggest you try to put it in yourself unless you got someone who's done it to help you out.
Anyhow, change the fluid and be ready....you never know, it just might work out?

That's at least the 3rd or 4th time I've heard this about the transmissions.

Just looked on car-part.com. Cheapest is at least 400 dollars. 0_0

Good to hear that. Probably your CV shaft seals are leaking, it's very common. Just keep it topped off, and don't forget to change it soon

Got the parts I ordered, they came real fast, so maybe I'll get this done before I go on vacation. I just gotta go to Radio Shack and get a project box and some wire and it will be good times

Hrm... my favorite yard sells ANY transmission for $60 +tax/core (Comes to $100 even, core is like $30-ish or something)

They sell ANY engine for $120 +tax/core (core is $50) So for $300, you could blow your engine up while over-revving in reverse, and still be up and running the next day! LOL.

partial under tray

Xmas gift from a friend was wrapped up in a huge cardboard box. So I decided to use some of the cardboard for a test partial under tray. I'm going to add a little more aero mods every tank. Next one will probably be rear wheel well covers.

Best picture i could get.
