Can someone explain me how to remove the rear wiper, do you have to remove the plastic cover, or you can remove it without opening the door?

Also wanting to know, anyone had problem with the rear wheel fenders during winter?

The wiper arm is held on by a single nut, which you can take off outside the car (there's a cover over the nut you have to take off first). The nut is on the pivot shaft of course. This leaves the shaft sticking up. If you want that gone too, you'll have to take apart the hatch and remove the drive mechanism from inside.

Can't comment on the winter skirts issue - I haven't driven the car very much in snow.

This is what you need to do, i did the same thing to mine.
Rear Wiper Plug - Insight Central: Honda Insight Forum

No problem in the snow. Just remember to kick off the compacted snow in front and behind of each tire. All the snow really adds a lot of weight.

Thank you! This helped alot. I just removed it and it looks great! I also put some lithium grease on the sticking part to protect from rust. (not showed on the picture) :

I just wanted to remove the wiper arm, not the entire motor. I will reput it during winter because it will help alot with snow stacking on the window.

Thank you for your input on the fender!

Did a 40.9 mile run and I did 85.5 MPG (US) / 2.75 L/100 km. I used P&G in city and DWL trying to stay in lean burn at 100-115 MPG. AVG speed 71 km/h. EBH plugged for 2 hours 30 minutes. c°WT showed 69°C and c°IA showed 40°C before starting.
Tank average is 3.2 LHK on the FCD and 3.1 on the SG. Mods in place : rear wiper delete, lower grille block, EPS deactivation, DRL deactivation, some LEDs, antenna remove, sealed gap around headlights. And thats with winter tires!

My recently reseted Lifetime FCD :

Thank you! Yeah its amazing how well it perform even when it is not very hot outside and with winter tires. Can't wait to receive my paycheck so I can buy the Potenza. With those tires + hotter temp, I'm sure I'll do 100 mpg!

Did 82.7 MPG (US) / 2.84 LHK on a 42.9 mile run. I did my best run of 87.8 MPG (US) / 2.68 LHK for the returning trip.

FYI, i just found out you can fit a 3' X 6' sheet of coroplast in the car nicely. If you're thinking about aero improvements.
