Didn't do the IMA switch for now. Still waiting for the right switch. I ordered 2 new LED tail light because I need CK types and the other one blow my fuse. I also ordered 2 LED dome light (one went for the immatriculation), 2 for my cluster (12v battery and oil pressure for when I'm in EOC) and a LED trunk light.

Yesterday I took the car and I forgot the key in the ignition at the ON position... When I woke up this morning I went to plug my grid charger and my 12v battery was dead even my dome LED light wasn't lit when the door is open. This is not good for a battery... I'm charging it up right now I'll see when driving if it has affected it or not.

Received my LED lights yesterday, installed them and they are a lot brighter than the stock bulbs. Now when I put my lights to position 1 (All lights exept headlights) there is only LED lights (Exept some cluster indicator lights). I decided to take a picture of all my LED lights :

My interior dome light when the door opens (we don't se it much because of the angle of the picture).


My 2 map lights (red for fun ).


My trunk light (5x brighter!).


My right and left tail lights (CK type this time, my non-CK type has 13-LEDs per bulb, the CK type has 18-LEDs per bulb ).




My immatriculation plate light (2x brighter).


My right and left front position lights (lot brighter than original).




There is also my 2 cluster LED for 12v battery and oil pressure indicator lights. Will take picture when I'll install them next time I remove my dash.

All LEDs are from canada light depot and super bright led.

Finally had some time today to do my IMA inhibit switch (clutch switch)! Will see if it works correctly tomorrow when I'll do my commute. I'll report back with pictures and feedback as well when I return from work tomorrow.

Sweet. I wanted to do mine today, but still have to solder an extension to it so it reaches- I want it to go by the parking brake, not on that driver side panel.

The IMA switch works perfectly! On my way to work and back I tested some of the advantage and disadventage of the switch. I could stop a background charging anytime, enable assist when I want and disable it when not necessary. It does in fact deactivate lean burn when you flip the switch while in lean operation. The SIL (shift indicator light) doesn't work but the DC-DC converter works fine. I can even start in gear, thought this is not something you want to happen :O.

The final result is pretty stock looking IMO. This switch is definitely a great modification for the Insight, I love it .

Do you mean it drops you out of lean burn... but you can get back in nearly right away? That's what mine did.

Congrats on the switch!

The IMA-inhibit / parallel clutch switch was the 2nd most useful switch I put in the U.F.O. after the engine kill switch.

I mounted mine just beneath the radio, so I was able to activate it with my right hand by reaching directly ahead of the shifter.

Yes my switch behave the same. It goes out of lean burn if I flick the switch during lean burn operation. I can return in lean burn directly after.

-FAS switch
-Upper grille block
-engine blanket
