Today chance wasn't on my side... hit a lot of redlights + traffic on the returning trip... anyway, did 86.4 mpg on the morning trip and 95.4 on the returning trip. For an average of 90.9 mpg.

Morning trip :

The 12v battery charger is a good idea if you're doing lots of engine off.

You're doing really well with the car. Do you have any other mods planned soon?

Yeah, I do 100% P&EOC when driving around town. So my 12v battery doesn't get charged. Before buying my BC, my voltage was below 12v constantly and I could feel the difference when my voltage went up to around 12.5-12.7v. the DC-DC converter didn't not try to charge it when accelerating, so I had more power to the wheels.

Thank you! But I'm still not satisfied, I want more 100+ mpg trips! Just joking, the car gets incredible mileage and I love it.

I plan on doing a frontal and rear belly pan. Still searching a way to do a good upper grille block (no attachment point...). For now I'm 100% lower grille block to compensate my 0% upper grille block . I need more LEDs to further reduce my watt usage. I want to delete the A/C components just like Francis did on his Echo. I also want to buy an oil pan heater, a transmission heater and build a killswitch, Francis got so good results with those that just convinced me to do the same thing. If I had more $$ I would also put a 144v Grid charger and MIMA to the list but at $650+... Its not for now.

These are not mods but they are still on my to do list :
-new rear shock adsorbers;
-new windshield;
-EGR system cleanup;
-Oil change (engine and transmission);
-car cover to protect it when parked.

That's it for now.

The first gear problem seems to be fixed... No more strange vibration and noise. Maybe it was caused by the fact that my car always wanted to charge my 12v battery when accelerating and that was causing the strange vibration and noise. IDK.

Just did a 56.1 mi mpg test run on the highway to Sainte-Anne-Des-Lacs and back. My goal was to do more than 100 mpg, and of course I achieved it! Went at an average speed of ~50 mph. Did mostly DWL (lots of hills) on the highway and P&EOC in the city part of the run. Tried to stay in Lean Burn at 125 mpg (target). Did 3 Engine Off Coasting on long downhill and I was really suprised how long and well the Insight coasts even with missing undertrays.

Temp was around 30°C and I had plugged the car 3 hours before departure. c°WT showed 72°C before starting. Highest measured c°WT was 96°C (I had Francis' Fire Blanket and was 100% lower grille block, 0% upper grille block). Tires at 55 front, 50 rear, verified it before departure. I had no passenger and my 2 mirrors where not folded. No HVAC at all during the trip. Windows up all the trip. IT WAS REALLY HOT INSIDE!!! Drinked alot of water. Listened to music tho... My 12v battery was fully charged and SG-II showed 12.9v before starting and 12.6v when I came back. My 144v battery SOC gauge showed 2/20 bars before starting, and 19/20 bars when I came back. I had a medium tailwind when going to SADL but I was climbing alot. Then when returning home I had a medium headwind but I was going down alot.

The results : I did 106.9 mpg (US) | 2.2 L/100 km!

IMAC&C does not cost $650 and is now available worldwide.

650+ $ is for the 144v charger (~500) and MIMA (~150). What is the price of the preassembled IMAC&C? The OBD-IIC&C is ~150$ for a preassembled unit IIRC?

Lot of malchance on the morning trip today, hit 3 redlights and had to brake hard, did 70.7 mpg... On the returning trip there was some traffic and hit 2 lights, did 101.7 mpg. Hot temp but little rain on the returning trip.
