There are brands and levels of autism, and maybe some few have nothing to do with others. Psychiatry always labeled people. It up to 1910 they used to make genital massages on women to cure what they called histeria. Vibrators was a early medical devise used to promote histerical climax (orgasm) as treatament.
Not surprise many doctors got used to make women "excited", and started a culture of abuse.

Psychiatry also had reversion therapies for gay, lesbians, assexual&antisecuals. Now the "Dr Frankenstein who created such monsteres is chassing the monster trying to kill hin", like here on Brazil where the psychologcal federal council insisted that some therapists who was selling sexual reversion was making a crime. Funny that they created such crimes and was one of the later countries to recognize it was wrong, and now acted like was hyeros against criminous. It's like a nazi who killed many jews was now raising flags against prejudice against jews.
Frankenstein syndrome...

Now they still say that children and teens who don't like to socialise very much with other are ill. Some psychologist I know, like in a fitness academy I use to go, said I would be more like other, here in a city habitated mostly by idiots alienated characterless lascive people, where who is not a steriotype it's labeled as sometinh weird or gay (they call any "strange" thing as gay). Be alone is saw by then like a disease. Choose to have no romantic relation or relation with nobody it's also saw by some therapists as a disease or problem. If I was a typical imbecile they would not say to me to be as everybody.
I don't remamber to ever met some realyy wise people here )my city).

People here are sick, it's like they prefer their daughters and sisters or even grandaughter to be f...ed by some dirt cre--tin than be rejected by a right guy. Cre---tins are respected while very reserved man are saw almost like had commited a crime. They see rejection of women who approached man like a crime.
These same women who give power to cre---tins and attack right man, later would make denselfs of victms when are cheated by man. Freak hypocrisy, and no matter ghow briliant I place all this sociologic characteristic, most people stay silence. Have character and hability to see all these matter is not saw with good eyes here.

People with degree are no much better. I feel like surrounded by imbeciles and corrupts here. Like in the end of the movie Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

Naturally -- it would interfere with the supposedly far more sophisticated Uber autonomous system. I don't fault them for that.

I think autonomous cars (highways at the least) will be on the market by MY 2022.

BOOM, bold claim.

It won't be cheap, there will be a lot of hardware and huge amounts of software, not to mention the processing power needed.

I wouldn't fault them for it either... until it fails to brake for a pedestrian!

I wonder if Volvo is regretting the impact (pun intended) on their safety-oriented image.

I like bold claims, ksa8907.

Perhaps the best way to ease into the technology is to start with the easiest / safest driving environments, allowing autopilot to be enabled only in approved locations based on GPS location. A whitelist of autonomous driving locations, if you will. There could even be blacklists, areas of known difficulty, or areas so unknown that the feature is not allowed.

The car could even demand greater attention based on the relative risk. Safe areas allowing the driver to take hands off for longer periods of time, for instance, with more difficult areas requiring constant driver attention.

Always easier to bite off small pieces of a challenge than to shoot for the full thing at once.

In digital logic there is the OR-gate: A or B or both will control.

I think fully autonomous vehicles will NEED to come to market by 2022 so automakers can start recouping their investments.

Seems like everybody and their brother have an autonomous driving startup. Lots of acquisitions in the next few years I'm sure.

Self pilot too... But 3D navigatiojn instead of 2D (like roads) it's more complex.

Will the world, the human beings, became more depressed when robts and softwares took most of their work ?

Man tends to get more depressed after retire, while old style woman (grandmas) keeped the domestic work and less prone to dperession.
