We punched in at 8:35am and lined alongside a "Concourse Quality" Porsche.
Having been through a few shows this year - I knew what was coming - but the Porshe's Owner did not - lol!!!

She also was "hands-down" thee most photographed car at the show.

And she did something no other car at the show could do:
Made it down to the show - - - and home again - - - on a measly two-gallon tank of fuel.

Round trip = 310 miles...
Excellent...

Malone International Auto Show - 7/18/2015
-
Centurion's next pitstop was just a hop-skip-and-a-jump away at only ~42 miles:
-
-
-
After registering you are given a row number and then you look for the marker where you park. I couldn't wait to get setup - but that would need to be put on hold.... The car was already surrounded!
-
Shortly after, Centurion was ready!
-
-
-
For those following this adventure, let's rewind to 6/20/2015 at the Plattsburgh car show and where Centurion was parked next to the silver car as we were in the same category/class:
-
-
-
Due to the constant stream of visitors, Centurion is not really the car you want to be parked next to whether you are at Plattsburgh, or say Malone....
-
Soooo, what ARE the chances......
-
-
-
Then in an unexpected twist, the highlight of the show came from an invite to speak over the air (about Centurion) from the on-site radio host of 102.7 WICY!
-
This was also followed up with a post to their facebook page with photo showing the event radio host standing next to Centurion (images courtesy of 102.7 WICY Malone):
-
-
-
-
Near the end of the event, and while still with a small crowd around the car, I heard my name over the event loudspeaker.... Centurion got a nice little trophy!
-
-
-
The Malone Auto Show was followed up by a parade of the show cars through town and finally to an assisted living home where tenants were outside to see the cars.

-
Centurion momentos were cheerfully distributed and it was a wonderful end to a wonderful event!

Miller88, It would be amazing to find a specific car there with no clues, etc! Talk about a needle in a haystack. Not sure of your location but am eyeballing a couple upcoming events south of where I am located - which is most all of NY - lol!!!

Next adventure: 3rd Annual Inlet Classic Car Show and Cruise
When:
Sat, Jul 25, 2015
10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Where:
Arrowhead Park, Inlet, NY 13360
Cost:
FREE ADMISSION
-
Another quick look at internet sources show a couple possible routes.
-
-
-
The shorter route (approx 100 miles) has a few obstacles and the really big one is the recently torn up road through Tupper Lake. That's a total mess.
-
The longer route (approx 128 miles) adds a half hour to the drive but the roads are much better.
-
In either case, the two-gallon tank is the total round-trip fuel allowance for this drive.
If in the area stop by the show and check out Centurion!

If you feel like driving to Watkins Glen again this year, the Grand Prix Festival is mostly a pretty big car show.
