I understand, but I found that my fuel log comments were getting repetitive. I just try and adopt every trick from the white book, but especially the longer stretches of highway driving at moderate speeds, drafting behind trucks, and p&g is where the big savings are made, along with the already efficient design of the A2 3L.
Apart from that, all there is to say about the car and its owners is right here.

No, it doesn't. Has the gearbox ever been replaced or refurbished, or its software upgraded? Gearbox failure (software-wise) is the only real issue my A2 has ever suffered from in recent years.

I do hope so. Although in all, I'm quite happy with my Bridgestone Ecopias, but they are not the nec plus ultra either.

I visited your website before, so your hubcaps had already attracted my attention. A fine product imho! Will keep them in mind for any of my future vehicles. How much are they approximately?

Polar, have you seen the DIY hitch-mounted boat tail on Audi A2 3L? Something for your highway trips...

First oil change done. Engine had 5W-40 oils but I put the castrol 5W-30 oil. 0W-30 werent available at my local shop. So first tank change will go with these. This current tank I will drive dry to see the tanks real capasity. It should be about 40 liters but we will see. 80% driven at 100 km/h and the fuel consumtion gauge shows 2.9-3.0 l/100km.

First 13 kg taken out of the car:
Rear seats upper part about 10 kg, engine cover and insulation, and truncks visual cover

I will also take part to this fuel economy race:
http://autoliitto-fi-bin.directo.fi/...0ER%202011.pdf
That race is reason why I didint do any more changes because car needs to be in its original state on the race.

On Lupo80days they were able to reach average fuel consumtion of 2.38l/100km on average speed of 85,6 km/h with "stock" car when going around the world. I could hypermile my Lupo to 2.4 at those speeds behind a truck. They speak german on those pages so I cannot estimate have they drafted and how much if they have.

I have used that on few occasions but on longer translations conserning cars its usually useless/ little help.

Today ordereded 2pcs of 135/80R15 Toyo 310 tires to front. No I just need to find 2 4"x15" rims to these tires. They should be found on as replacement wheels on stock cars.

Also I have purchased a DRL light set to front.

Today notised that if you like to push and glide with this 3L you only need to push the gas pedal. If you want to have maximum use of engine brake you just need to tap once to the brakes and ECU calculates which gear gives least braking while still on 0 fuel consumtion. Usually the change point is about 1000 rpm.

I love this car more every day!.

Now there is something I've never seen in a car! Did you find out by yourself, or is it mentioned in the manual?

I mean just release the gas and it starts to glide with propably clutch pressed down but anyway you dont need to do anything else. On the economy race I will use it all the time because its very easy.

This was told me by fellow Lupo 3L owner who got scangauge working on his lupo:
http://www.youtube.com/user/arturasz.../4/yea2TN9qyf4
His car is also 2000 model but mine does not work on my Lupo 2L. Now I ordered VAG-com to do the job.

I recall it having a one way bearing in the top gear cog alongside the ecu using DFCO. Best of both worlds if you ask me! What a car!

Is his car slightly newer? Sometimes 1-2 months newer is enough to a small upgrade which is unnoticeable by the average user (my P307 looks like the pre-lift version, but has newer electrical and software systems). Maybe there is a way to make your Lupo SGII-compatible, like a software upgrade?

A one way top gear bearing? This would mean no engine braking in 5th, but way cool anyway
