We've had a handful of fantastically mild (warm, even) days this month, and I've been out in a canoe, kayak and rowboat so far. But no sailing yet.

2000 Tdi/5 new Beetle on the way! Probably moving out of L series Saturns. 45 mpg sounds better than 30. Powertrain might end up in a Jetta or Passat wagon.

Yes, a friend of mine has a buddy with a Pearson 30... I'm part of the weekly racing crew during the spring-summer-fall season.

Haven't got e the kayak or yet this season!

I'm curious why you would buy a New Beetle TDI to swap the engine into a Jetta or Passat wagon instead of just buying the wagon with a TDI.

(I had a 2003 Jetta Wagon TDI 5 speed that was a great car)

This actually happened over the prior few days, but my 'Airstream' is pressure washed.

I'd bought a gas pressure washer ($45), but the hose for my broken down electric washer didn't fit. A guy that hangs out with my next door neighbors bought a high pressure hose and wand ($89) and I washed the unit.

Now he says he will fix the electric washer to buy out my interest (it probably needs parts) so I end up with a temporarily clean dwelling and a working pressure washer.
