More like bio diesel from pressed plant oils. Maybe use hemp fiber in composites with casein binder. Ingesting ethanol and cannabis ruins body, mind, and family.

Would it be appropriate to discuss the efficiency of the California state government?

Demonstrably false, as several billion people around the world demonstrate. What ruins lives and families are insane authoritarians making these things illegal so the can have excuses to strut around in uniforms and play the bully.

(And doing electric farm equipment, at least on center-pivot irrigation, should be pretty simple.)

We tried making weed illegal and fighting it as part of the war on drugs for over 40 years and it hasn't worked.
To continue to do the same thing and expect a different result would be insane.
They already tried making alcohol illegal, that worked great.

Ha. I tried researching "Which is worse, alcohol or..." well, I am not using the word the system just blocked, but from what I have read, the legal one is far worse in many ways, but like I wrote, I was trying to research it.

I guess the district disagrees, considering which topic I am allowed to search.

Does the district let you post on Ecomodder?

If this thread moves to The Lounge, I can explain ((Anslinger)) how the one led to the other.

Post, yes. Read, no. Wait.
It kept blocking one thread, I think it was the water injection one, supposedly it had something to do with boomsticks.
Pinterest also comes through.
Oh joy.
Just not some speech therapy blogs because I cannot have nice things--and, you know, do work at work.
Ecomodder at work and speech blogs at home. It works, I guess.

Neither is bad, if done in moderation. The problem is when people use them immoderately. But as far as I can tell, that's a personal problem: there are people who will always do something immoderately, whether it's booze, religion, or collecting Beanie Babies.

There's some evidence that moderate amounts of alcohol actually has a positive effects on health, while marijuana and other drugs can be used to treat various medical conditions.

Recovering biomethane from sewers and landfills to use it as a fuel makes more sense than any pledge to ban ICEs.

I am favorable to biodiesel, but I don't single-out other alternate fuels such as ethanol or biomethane, which could eventually be used alongside biodiesel for reasons such as emissions control, performance improvements or just making the most efficient use of locally-available feedstock for renewable fuels. When it comes to booze, I do enjoy some beer, wine or cachaça once in a while. Hemp could actually be a good raw material for industrial purposes, replacing fiberglass and petrochemical products, and medical applications such as canabidiol should eventually become more widespread too, but I don't support the recreational use of marijuana.
