When the state trooper who pulls you over not because 50mph. is so bad in a 60 zone with 3 lane choices, but because the unskilled not look ahead crowd were making sketchy
last second passes around me.

I explained that I was trying to save gas at 50mph. He said isn't 55 a good mileage speed?

I replied that 50 was better. No ticket, but advised me to go at least 55.

That makes me grit my teeth. Thankfully my CRX aero is good, so maybe it won't hurt too much, but basically being told I HAVE to go a minimum of only 5 under to stay out of trouble???

An add to the insult was that he explained that he was a K9 unit, and that many times he has the dog come out to see if people like me are fit to drive.

This was in light traffic 8:10 AM on a Saturday on my way to church, and he's acting like I'm stoned or something.

Arrrrrrrgggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YKYAEM if.. you think "Tuck & Roll" should be a legitimate way to drop off a passenger.

YKYAEM when...

You predict an increase in posting to the Aero forum due to the recent increase in the availability of free spare materials - mainly coroplast - due to some event or other coming to a "shuddering climax".

To rephrase and improve. ".... when the thing you most anticipate after the election is the increased postings on the aero forum...."

You get upset when you coast downhill in gear or your trying to get more gas into your 40 MPG ecomod at the gas station then you realize , hey it's a good thing less gas is going in !! then you spend the savings in gas on junk food!! you wish your car had pedals so you could coast a little further

It just means your truck is ancient

Next year it'd even be exempt from road tax in my neck of the woods
It's something very unusual when our greedy politicians decide to give a common citizen a tax waiver !

Almost happened to me a while back, coasting along downhill at 45 early AM on the interstate , when luckily I saw a car gaining on me and threw it in gear to 60 , just then a radar trap came up, would have looked very suspicious going 45 at 5 am in a 65 zone!!
