That occurs frequently.
On the other hand, I once followed a Prius on an uphill on-ramp onto I-40. He was "pedal to the metal' until he set his cruise control at the speed limit; didn't slow me down at all. He may be a member here. Most people slow me down on on-ramps.

When you laugh at people for speeding around you, flooring their car, just to stop next to them at the next light

Even better - you time it so you pass them at the speed limit when the light turns green.

When the cars that overtake you have their brake lights on.
Multilane avenue with long red intervals. Got a line of cars behind. I let go of the right pedal and coast toward the lights. The line behind me swerves past, one by one, only to notice that the lights are indeed red and I overtake that line of braking cars again in the vacated right lane, speeding past the lights one second after they changed to green.
The line reformats for a repeat play at the next set of lights.

Your wife loves your new Geo Metro.............Diet. Yeah, it really hurts to skip dessert but you know that soon you'll enjoy feeling those bugs hit the windshield of your XFI,,yet you wish they wouldn't stick there because you are rather worried about the CdA of a bug, and you think, I'd splurge on a coin-op car wash but remember that you spent the fuel savings from hypermiling with your ScanGage I,, on a new ScanGage II and you have to start saving for a tank of gas so you decide to go dumpster diving behind the pizza joint because those 33 rpm vinyl LPs just look tacky then again you are disgusted with yourself for choosing looks over true beauty....but it just depends on which one is lighter. You will invest in some scales to weigh them. (fyi: 12" LPs weigh 180 grams max) That's frickin' near a half pound!!
Why must air be so dense???
You recite the 100+ tips each night at bedtime.
You once had a wet dream you were driving on the moon.
You left your shoes in the driveway. again.
You keep spare flip flops under the seat.
At work, nobody believes that your shoes were stolen again.
They think you are lying about your mpg too.
You get home from work and this time your shoes have actually been stolen.
How convenient!

Ecomodder when shopping for suspension dampeners gets you to start really considering "coil overs"...
To lower vehicle
To take turns at faster speeds/maintain speeds
To adjust suspension to my liking
To stop it from driving like a "whale" on the road
Ouch, $1.000 not including installation n alignment !!!!!

when your car has a 40 liter tank- and the fuel gauge has 4 bars, so on the longer trips you can calculate the mileage on-the-run.
200kms, one bar down = 5ltr/100km/47MPG
*my friend asked why I squealed*
