Not sure if that would be much of an issue, yet sleeping downstairs would make it much easier. Well, as long as you don't feel dizzy while going downstairs in a hurry for the toilet, it might not be as much of an issue as you may believe.

The issue is the legs, nerve endings and ladders, day or night. Don't know exactly where the legs are actually at, doing what ever unless visual confirmation available.
Have to walk in the gutter because I fall down sometimes at driveway slopes and curbs. Gutters are flat most of the time.

A few days ago I spotted a 6th-gen Jetta with Paraguayan plates, and a Vento badge as it was badged Vento in many Spanish-speaking countries because Jetta sounds like yeta, which means bad luck according to what an Uruguayan told me years ago. But it had a blue I on the TDI logo, so maybe it was a model affected by the Dieselgate scandal. What actually made me believe it's Dieselgate-related were the US-spec headlights, more than the blue I on the TDI.
