I found a 70’s super beetle for sale today in Illinois. It’s cheap by todays standards. Unfortunately due to rainy weather I didn’t grab a picture of it. It was a fixer-upper for $3k. But it did run/drive.

I found a late 60’s beetle for sale today in IL. But this one was too far gone for my needs. I feel $3k for a basket case is a bit steep.
It’s amazing how these cars are turning to unobtainium!

About a hour or two ago I saw a Volkswagen Polo taxi, seemingly with the naturally-aspirated 1.0L engine. And a 5-speed manual transmission. Volkswagen might be losing a few sales in Brazil by no longer offering any model with automatic transmission and naturally-aspirated engine, only turbocharged models come with this option nowadays, but it's lucky enough to still have a considerable amount of buyers with a much conservative taste for cars.

All the SEMA coverage I've seen has included this Foose dune buggy. Porsche gauges, wheel, swan neck mirrors, nipple hub caps, nose medallion, etc. four cylinder Porsche engine.
