I resemble that remark! If the tires didn't squeal, I should've taken that turn faster.

Wiping windshield to see

My first vehicle was a 1971 F-100, it had two 3" square holes in the dash for defrost, so wiping the windshield to see was a must in the cooler months

Well, especialy in a car like mine on 220 TW tires, this can get quite fast.
I maxed out at 1,2 G latheral when the tires where new.

That's some impressive lateral acceleration.

"manual shift" mode

You know you're an ecodriver when you see this message regularly when driving automatics with manual shift gates/flappy paddles...

Or, when you have a manual with shift lights, that are always suggesting an upshift.

Two examples here. Both are in a rural setting. When you are delighted following a slow up shifting truck down an on ramp knowing everybody else will see his bulk, plus yourself supposedly trapped behind him in their eyes, allowing your acceleration to be leisurely without conflict entering the freeway. Number two is putzing Along on a rural Two lane Country Road watching your rear view mirror as you see a blob of a car about a mile back slowly starting to come up. You're wondering if you're going to have to increase your speed, or adjust it as you know the road well and are trying to plan when they might get to you and if there is a wide enough shoulder where you could do a wave them around, so you're formulating all these ideas in your mind, and as you continue to scan your rear view mirror, you see them make a turn off long before they get anywhere near you, and you smile to yourself knowing you're not going to be bothered This Time by someone.
