YKYAEM when you carry a rag to wipe the inside of the windshield so that you don't have to turn on the defrost which kills the electric only driving range

A squeegee blade works better. It's only a problem for the Prius and Metro[-type] cars wherein you can't reach the bottom of the glass. The flat-screen Beetle still wins on that count.
