YKYAEM when you are excited for a forced job change that allows you to carpool with your significant other and raise your average fuel mileage over 600% cumulatively
* Figures calculated by using current combined mpg of 124mpg and dividing it per vehicle that has been driven, Wife's c-max avg 49mpg, 2015 dart avg 27mpg, and V6 Mariner avg 21 mpg*

... when you're pleasantly surprised to see the speed limit has been reduced on a section of scenic highway you regularly use.

I only ever see speed limits reduced for construction--and nobody slows down.

You know you are an ecomodder when you keep avoiding short trips and take the bike for anything sub 30 km to keep the average fuel efficiency up.

YKYAEM When you turn on the emergency flashers when driving under the speed limit more than 10MPH so people don't get upset that you are driving "slow", at least in the roads I travel, less California howdy's or audible reminders of their aggression.

YKYA[old]EM when you're standing at an auto parts counter and when a guy walks in with a four-barrel carb, the kid behind the counter says "I've never seen a carburetor before." !!
I told him the carburetor was a big improvement over what came before, turns out those were called a wick carburetor.
I said he could download a 34 PICT Solex single barrel from Thingiverse to see how they work, and the other guy behind the counter said he would do that but his Creality 10 was having problems printing in PETG. Good times.
