FC crossmember? I assume this is out of the donor car that the engine came out of. Did I miss this in an earlier post? What was the donor? Very cool project.

Thanks!
Sorry I wasn't clear. The '86-'91 RX-7 is the FC, the '83-'85 RX-7 is the FB. Because the car's owner wanted power steering, I found an FC to take the front suspension and steering from. Easier than finding an '85 RX-7 GSL-SE to get FB power steering from. Plus this allows bigger brakes now than I was going to do to the FB hubs, plus more wheel choices, so the brakes can go even bigger than what I'm doing.
I have no clue what the new front rotors are supposed to be for, I chose them by dimensions and got lucky. A Mercedes donated the Brembo calipers, a '96 Camaro donated the V6, and so on. Many donors for this one recipient.
This is turning into a bunch of things ( or details, maybe ) that noone has ever tried before. Or if they have, it isn't online. Anyway, it spells headaches for me.

I sincerely appreciate knowing someone is watching, but I'd keep the thread going anyway. Not only for my ego, but also in case anyone else ever considers trying any of what I'm trying.
The install wasn't a slam dunk, and the biggest problem seems to be the alternator, but it looks possible that the TB also might not fit under the stock hood either.
There were interferences between the engine assembly and the steering linkage, also the steering rack. The mounts were nowhere near anything, but I'm fixing these. I had to remove the oilpan for a second round of undenting, and I welded on some reinforcement.
Looks like the engine needs a couple more test-fits, I'd hoped to get it done in one.
