You posted this immediately after I ordered a couple aluminum pizza pans.

Looks quite good. Let us know how they hold up.

I'd be interested to see how how durable they are.

I'm amazed you can even mount RE92 potenzas to the space savers. You should check your tread wear, they are notorious for wearing unevenly on stock insight wheels. I can only imagine how they are wearing on space savers!

I think the rear looks more like the SIM LEI.

Thanks for the details on the design process. Always helpful. They look better, and they look good.

let me guess, the inside wears more? Mine used to do that, get the car aligned with ballast to replicate normal passenger weight and it goes away. The zero degree alignment and light weight makes this an important step.

1 oz wheel covers

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Right now I am only using these vinyl covers on the rear tires under the rear skirts. On the front I used some left over "moon discs" that we had on the 88 CRX when it still had steel wheels. I can't believe I forgot to get a new profile shot. I will get one soon.

I also hope the vinyl holds up. One thing I realized was you have to cut out the hole were the valve stem is when you need to check your air pressure.

Sheep dog 44 I have put almost 4,000 miles on this set of RE 92's mounted on the Insight space saver spares and so far no uneven wear. I will let everyone know if I see a problem in the future.

Thanks for the details of your mod.

The vinyl has advantages compared to coroplast, more streamlined, no bulge, easier to get to valves and wheel bolts, no plastic ties. I'm curious how well the vinyl will keep sticking, and am interested to try it on mine, along with wheel gap fillers for all wheels.
