Yes, and just because one, or two, or "X" number of attempts don't work doesn't "prove" it's impossible (was it Edison who tried about 1000 different things before he finally got the light bulb to work?).

But on this HHO business, it sounds like the "trick" hasn't been discovered yet. Maybe it will be, and major kudos to those who soldier on and keep working on it. But for me, I'm gonna be concentrating on the "low hanging fruit" because I'm - well - lazy, to be blunt. ;-)

ok guys here's some pics of the reaction chamber im working on. It took me a while to get everything figured out on how to get them small enough for download here but i got it.



This is the first part of the reaction chamber. The white thats on it is actually clear caulk that starts white then dries clear so as you can see it's still not dry. I got in a bit of a hurry and pulled the spacers out to soon so some of the plates have pushed together so ill have to see about fixing that later.



on this end i decided to let it dry first before removing the spacers. after their both dry i'll caulk them together and it will be one full piece.

the first on is about three inches and the second is about two and a quarter inches wide with about 70-80 plates. more info after they dry!!

TIP--for a controlled *spacing* try placing a piece of water-soluable sewing stiffener (cloth that dissolves) between the plates...which you simply "wash" away by setting the finished plate-assembly in water and letting the stiffener material dissolve away.

My wife does a lot of sewing and embroidery.

Hey, I love that idea, but how thick is it? Different thicknesses? I guess it could be doubled- or tripled-up too, huh?

I used to use things like pennies and dimes, but sometimes it could be a real pain to dig them out, depending on what I was making - not to mention, my supply of pennies and dimes wasn't always up to the task - and they weren't always the same thickness depending on wear...

I'd like to see about making a new thread for my reaction chamber, but I don't have a mpguino for my truck and I'll also be going to Utah on the 18th without my truck and no other means of transportation but what I borrow from family.

I'll be there for about 5-6 months before returning to Tennessee, at that time I can continue in depth testing on the effectiveness of the reaction chamber on the truck.

What I used for spacers was 36 inch zip ties I cut to about 9 inches long, I just didn't have enough

Also the truck I'm going to install this on is a 2000 Chevy s10.

Google: "Floriani Wet N Gone" a fibrous water soluble stablizer.

Per my dial micrometer, the basic thickness is 0.008", so layering is probably best if you're wanting a wider separation, ie: two layers/strips for 0.015" ±0.001" spacing. And, I'd use only strips -- not whole sheet -- between the plates, a strip in the center and one at each end.

Making the atmosphere more inviting to even those who admit failure or have seen no gain would be immensely valuable.

Collecting the conditions under varying results gives us hints as to what could be going on inside the combustion chamber without having a full on research lab.
