^^ When we needed to buy a new fridge, the Wife insisted that we pay extra for "inox" finish, instead of the typical white. "Because the color fits our kitchen" she said. Two days later you couldn't see what color it was, it was all covered in bills, postcards and our son's drawings. Of course, we used magnets.

She still claims that it was worth it.

I'm shocked, shocked! that no A-B-A testing has been produced showing the effectiveness, or lack thereof, of magnets as a fuel economy aid. Or as a kitchen feng shui improvement aid for that matter.

Because in this realm observation alters performance, and effects have no cause. One must believe.

To my detractors I offer this:

When I attempted to perform A-B-A testing I was injured. In my eagerness to prove my hypothesis I failed to grasp the dangers associated with loose magnets. After numerous finger pinches I decided further testing was dangerous and unnecessary.

As for A-B-A results...I may not have the documented proof you seek. However, I pose this question to you. I have have no proof that the Tooth Fairy exists either...but if she doesn't...who's been putting money under my pillow? !!!!Boom!!!! Mind Blown

A-B-A Testing on magnets:
50 magnets covering 91% of door.
A = magnets on refrigerator door
B= magnets OFF refrigerator door

Kitchen ambient temp: A- 74degrees B - 74 degrees
inside refrigerator temp: A - 55 degree B- 55 degrees

No change.
Done.
Test over.
END OF THREAD.
