For up to $70 per set they do don't even last twice as long as a cheap set that's around 1/4 the price.

I want to see someone turn a Tesla into a trailer, but there is a good chance the tow vehicle would be rolling coal.

Been done as a rolling batterypack, hasn't it ?
Which is essentially what a Tesla is anyways ...

Recently I barely hit my shin into a Harbor Freight trailer light and it slightly broke the plastic holding the light to the housing. Somewhere on the highway it blew off entirely.

One day I'll find sturdy LED trailer lights and mount them at a point less susceptible to impact, wire it with speaker wire rather than the garbage Harbor Freight junk, and place it in conduit to keep it from dangling and getting damaged. Only then do I have some small confidence the lights will be reliable.
GROTE Catalog.

Trailer lights will last well more than a decade.
Don’t buy cheaply made, and use a protective housing.

Big truck supply as with above reference.
Fleet Pride chain also.

I'm like 90% certain rich rebuilds did this.

This is all that I found when I searched:

He mentioned a video he made about a Tesla trailer, but it sounded like clickbait.

For stealth he needs a little faux-teardrop cabin on the trailer.

edit:
He's putting a Zero motorcycle motor in a 1928 Ford roadster. I thoroughly approve. There's nothing shade-tree mechanic about the laser-cut engine adapter plate.

Not a terribly aero trailer now, but I can easily move 4x8 sheets of plywood/sheetrock, cubic yards of construction waste, doors and large windows, all while still getting 40+ mpg and being able to out-accelerate any trim of F150 (while pulling a trailer) up to highway speeds.
