Yes. The typical movie stream has WAY better resolution than what is coming from a webcam on a laptop.

Wait, you guys see ads?
If you don't see the full-width full motion video of Lin Carter doing her turn as a fashion model, consider yourself as fortunate.

Between the last post and the ad you don't see, I get eight thumbnails with links to other Ecomodder pages and approx. half of them are things I posted.

[I know the thread is about you. Apologies in advance]
After a decade and a half of self-isolation and social distancing, I've elected to make some additional changes.

I converted the whole-house exhaust fan to an over-pressure MERV 11 system. My son drop-shipped half a dozen 14x14 MERV 11 (down to 1 micron) air filters and I reversed the fan motor in the ventilator. It was tolerable as an exhaust fan, but reversing it made it LOUDER. It's a single speed 1230cfm AC motor, I'm pondering a VW Beetle squirrel cage and generator (1500cfm) as a controllable 12v system.

I'm learning to use drive-up windows. Riding the bus down 100%, bicycling 80% (one grocery run in the car, vs 3-4 bike rides).

My doctor offered a video conference, so I tried. Green blanket for a green-screen background, new user account to isolate my 'browser history' and setup testing beforehand. The intermediary PaaS TokBox (https://tokbox.com/developer/tools/precall/) failed the third checkbox. I check my Network Activity Monitor and I'm seeing sub-56K speeds.

So we reverted to phone.
[/apology]

My wife happened to be wearing a green shirt the day we went to the aquarium with our kids. The family photo we bought was cute.

Vivaldi is cross-platform. Downloading it now.

Scott Adams is talking about the choir practice where many contracted the plague. So wash you hands and don't sing in a closed room.

Apparently worshipping God doesn't exempt you from being subject to the laws of nature. It's an odd blind spot: if you believe God created the word, doesn't it follow that God created the conditions it operates under? You know, things like gravity, thermodynamics and... viral transmission? Those aren't rules made by man, they're rules already in place that man observed.

Yes, I'm talking to you, Florida Man, Cajun Cracker, and Jerry Falwell.

My church hasn't held a "real" service since March 7. YouTube and Facebook Live aren't as good as being together, but it's not worth killing off a bunch of the congregation just so we can say we showed up this spring.

Choirs conspire, in that they breathe together. Synchronized infection.

Electric cables should have the warning tape also, but they are buried 2X deeper and generally in a conduit.

I'm running Opera with full blocking and ads off, on a custom OS. I don't see ads at all. Reasonably sure it's not reporting anything either, the last time I checked. My firewall is also set to only accept replies from the queried web site.
