Basic criminology is to hide what you're doing.
Basic academic research involves publishing your findings and methods.

The idea behind one is to not get caught, and the idea behind the other is to allow other people to catch things that you've done wrong. The fact that we can find a few problems in decades of published work makes me lean towards the idea that it's actually working, not that the whole thing is a hoax.

Old conspiracy theories never die.

The BEST study looked at the heat island effect, and it looked at all the data. They expected to find fundamental flaws. They in fact, confirmed the science.

So 3 attempts to mess with temperature data and one on faked sea level rise amounts, that we know of.
You guys have an aversion to Google searching?
Because I found mine in about 20 seconds.

Because, if you find it on the Internet - it must be true, right?

The body of scientific knowledge about climate change has been building for almost 200 years. I accept science.

Conjecture.

Standard of living has been improving for most people fairly consistently for quite a long time, especially since fossil fuels have been put to work. I see no evidence that suggests future generations will have it worse than us. Some people will be displaced, but that will occur relatively slowly over generations.

Causing real and immediate suffering for current people under the assumption they will cause imagined suffering for people who don't yet exist does not make sense.
