We had a long cold, wet, Spring again which delays entering the fields but the farmers have apparently figured it out after three years. The feed corn looks to be a record bumper crop. I have never seen corn so dense and 8 feet high. Have to wait and see how the apples do.

A video on the implications of that article in Journal of Applied Physics on the electromagnetic properties of the Great Pyramid.
It's interesting that the Pyramids are connected with Tesla's Wydencliff Tower, and it suggests something to transition to, from the 'free' energy of petroleum and coal.

I'm not finding recent data, but it seems food output has not decreased and is on track to continue increasing.
Just got off the phone with someone reporting hail damage to crops in CO though.

We still have plenty of liquid fuel and mined Phosphorous. For another 30 years. Then they will tip past peak availability and the price will skyrocket.

We had some rain this night and morning.
I walked into the garden to expect everything soaking wet, but it was dry. I watered the border plants yesterday evening, and they were still looking fresh, but everything else is so freaking bone dry that any water gets absorbed and vanishes immediately.
Last time I've mown the hay was early June.
I still remember the times I had to mow the grass in summer and not in winter instead of the other way round. Strange days.
The water debit is worsening badly, with salt water intruding the rivers from the seas, so the water companies have to get drinking water from canals fed from lakes 100 km away. Shipping is reduced because of the current in the canals and locks not operating to prevent the intrusion of salt riverwater into the canal systems.
We need rain, lots of it. Setting new temperature and drought records is fun for a while, but the novelty has worn off and we need some relief.

Calif. wildfires and Climate Change
So far, climatologists from both,Lamont Doherty, and Penn.State have been making associations between climate change and the wildfire situation in California.
The state record set 8-months ago was just eclipsed by the current Mendocino-Complex fire.Northern Europe and Western Europe,Greece as well.
'Hotter,drier' conditions are attributed.

Spoken like an Oregonian. The 'big room with the bright light' can be scary. The longest stretch without rain I remember is 60 days.

I thought we went 3 months with no rain once, but apparently we got 1/4", making it the driest 3 month stretch.

Excuse me if this is off-topic. What is the topic anyway? Why did the Army give me 400 malaria pills before I deployed? Don't mosquitoes need water?!
