I read the paper last night, from the Hadley Center research. They said that you attribute solar illuminance for a portion of this century's warming, then after that,it was all driven by anthropogenic carbon.
And please don't include me in your blanket statement about how 'believers' are reacting.
I'd be the exception to the rule.

Seriously? Public schools are so far left all ideas have fallen off that end of the spectrum and not replaced with anything reasonable. Faculty that are merely slightly to the left live in silence and fear hoping they aren't discovered to have a relatively moderate view, and then have their social and professional lives ruined by the insatiable hoard of SJWs looking for victimizers to blame all the woes of victimized people.
Global warming is nearly the only type of science taught, with sciences like biology a taboo subject that must either be ignored, or dismissed as bigoted.
The problem never was one of education, but of the human condition. Despite the fact that our youth are brainwashed lefties, they still want their things. Hero status by Tweeting is much easier to achieve than the old way our heroes were made; with personal sacrifice.

Supose we find cold fusion, or hydrogen fusion by low cost, and fine energy storage.
There will stil be a problem for steel mils activities.
How electricity could melt steel ???

It's not the melting it. It's smelting it.
Where you dig what amounts to rust out of the ground, turn the rust into iron and add a little bit of carbon that stays with the iron while removing impurities.
Remelting steel and iron to recycle it using an electric arc furnace is common.

Perhaps in Oregon.
None of the kids here, that go to public school are studying it.It's like it never existed.
The scientists that I read say it's all a matter of education, and cultivating critical thinking, which is illegal in Texas.
