I watched a Youtube video that made the dubious claim that detonating in the Marianas Trench would trigger earthquakes since it's on a fault line. Those earthquakes would then trigger volcanic activity like we've never seen, blocking sunlight and killing most life on Earth.

Maybe nukes triggering earthquakes that then trigger volcanoes is in the realm of possibility, but it doesn't sound reasonable to me.

The Marianas Trench detonation was debunked.

Never heard the question before but it's been addressed. Two sources I respect:
https://what-if.xkcd.com/15/
https://www.quora.com/If-a-nuclear-b...-at-that-depth

What I can't find is any mention of the underwater earthquake triggered off Fukushima by a hostile nation using a nuke pilfered from a sunken submarine (the Kursk?). Down the memory hole.

A climate contrarian. But pollution and species extinction are different problems that still remain.

She reminds me of Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann.

I don't see the resemblance. I had to look Michele Bachmann up. They both have long dark hair. I haven't heard Michele Bachmann, but nothing Sarah Palin said [that I've heard] is as cogent.

I like the graph at 3:18. It shows clearly the gap between the Old and New Kingdoms in Olde Egypt.

It was interesting that Tucker Carlson had a representative of the Social Democrats on his show and he agreed with everything she said. She inducted him into the SDA at the end of the segment. Hysteria, cats and dogs, etc.

I don't doubt global warming or climate change.

I do have a healthy skepticism of the conclusions that have and are being drawn.

I stumbled across this video recently, I thought it was quite interesting.

I listened to part of the Rogan podcast with the climate alarmist and intend to finish it. The thing I kept thinking is, even if everything were as bad as was presented, we're still taking 200 years before the cities he's talking about are inundated by water. That's a heck of a long time to stop building there and slowly migrate away, or develop walls to hold back the seas, or reverse warming.

Even if things get really bad, they will very slowly get very bad, and humans are among the most adaptable species there is. The issue is worth pondering and acting on now, but not in ways that will usher in the terrible living conditions immediately.
