Actually the ipcc is saying no where near 6 to to 10 feet of sea level rise in the next 100 years.
Where is this lunacy coming from?

Yeah they really don't like to talk about how more ice is freezing in the antarctic.
The earth is going to warm, the sea levels rise and we all die. Anything other than than that is crazy talk and you are a denyer.

Traditionally, it comes from that bottomless source of restless energy, the Moon.

That may have it backward.

At any rate, it wouldn't counteract sea rise since floating ice has no effect on that.

... and I just found this:
Antarctica WAS expanding up until 2014 - and now it is rapidly shrinking. It was expanding because the increase of moisture due to increased evaporation - more snow was expanding it. But, now with just a bit more warming, it is shrinking.

Saying they are not perfect implies they are generally correct, which is a flat out lie.
Belief = / = facts

And nope, not anywhere near completely wrong.

The temperature in my living room is constantly changing.

Thus the fact that I have set the sofa on fire should be no cause for concern.

I am pretty sure the concrete walls and ceiling will survive the fire.

I sure hope I do!

Also, a reminder on how dramatic the speed of current global temperature change is:

Actually, scientists DO talk about how the Antarctic ice sheet is growing.

Or rather, they're talking about how that growth has slowed down dramatically in the last few years.

Whoops.

Thanks. I liked the entry on the domestication of doges:
"Okay you can live in our homes and we'll feed you but we'll still get mad if you poop on the floor."
"Deal."
"And we get to breed you to be tiny and dress you in little costumes."
"...wait."
Also Crater Lake gets a mention.

Two things of note today. So much has happened in the last week that Suspicious 0bservers put up a special posting:

And I saw something on China reversing desertification:

it's amazing what an ethno-state with singlemindedness of purpose can accomplish.
