The FOX WEATHER Channel meteorologists prefaced the categorization of a 'first,' as occurring at as low as 2,000-feet above sea level.
It wasn't as if anyone seriously expected to see whiteout conditions at Sunset and Vine.
Saying otherwise though, might have sold more toothpaste and underarm deodorant.

'Atmospheric static electricity'

The real 'Green Party', the Libertarians, 'own' the premier expert on harvesting atmospheric static electricity, in the person of John Galt ( who is John Galt?).
Galt's Gulch, Colorado, ran exclusively on renewable, atmospheric static electricity, captured in Galt's revolutionary contraption, invented while at Universal Motors. Wherever $ Brand cigarettes are sold!

I did not know that. I know where the author got it, though.

A New Method to Extract Carbon Dioxide from Seawater

There's 100x by volume of CO2 in water compared to air. So remove 87% in a single pass and let the oceans reabsorb it from the air.

phys.org: Wastewater sector emits nearly twice as much methane as previously thought
Quote:
Municipal wastewater treatment plants emit nearly double the amount of methane into the atmosphere than scientists previously believed, according to new research from Princeton University. And since methane warms the planet over 80 times more powerfully than carbon dioxide over 20 years, that could be a big problem.
Leaky Methane digesters are just the start.

phys.org: Social media posts around solar geoengineering 'spill over' into conspiracy theories[
Quote:
While the controversy around geoengineering will continue on social media, the team say what they really need is quality data and research. "There are risks associated with geoengineering, but how do these compare with the risks of letting climate change continue unabated?" said Fitzgerald. "I worry that knowledge hasn't progressed in this area. What happens if some rogue entity decides to go for a huge deployment of SRM, and people end up suffering because of it? This is why it's so important to have informed discussions backed up by quality research."

I watched the video in 'pieces'.
Copy Pro closed it's doors on Tuesday, another victim of COVID-19.
I'm at the north branch library, with limited computer time, which doesn't allow watching complete videos.
I never saw any mention of removing CO2 from sea water.

So much for a forum of free thought and ideas.
If nothing else the apparent variably in the gravitational constant are with investigating.
The constants that appear to demonstrate some variability are gravitational, radioactive decay, the speed of light and electron charge constant.
The hardest one to study is radioactive decay because it appeared to be lined to proximity to a gravity well.

new all-time record for tropical cyclone/ typhoon/ hurricane

Presently, Tropical Cyclone Freddy is setting world history as the longest-lived tropical cyclone in recorded history.
32-days, churning in the waters near Madagascar.
It's striking Mozambique for the second time since February 24, as I type.

Here's a second-order effect for you. Those politically[Antifa]-induced wild fires in Australia set back the increasing-rate-of-decrease of the ozone hole:

https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-023-00687-w

Australia’s massive wildfires shredded the ozone layer — now scientists know why
Smoke from the catastrophic 2019–20 fires unleashed ozone-eating chlorine molecules into the stratosphere.
Quote:
Ozone recovery at risk
Chlorine-containing molecules that remain from before they were banned are slowly decaying and the annual ozone hole is shrinking. But Solomon says that more-frequent wildfires resulting from climate change could imperil the recovery of the ozone layer.

“It’s like a race,” she says. “Does the chlorine decay out of the stratosphere fast enough in the next, say, 40–50 years that the likely increase in intense and frequent wildfires doesn’t end up prolonging the ozone hole?”
