* Americans can't say anything they want. In my opinion, S-O is living on borrowed time.
* Seems like S-O is attempting to co-opt NASA, JPL, etc., as if they actually give any credence to anything S-O publishes.
* I'm unsure why I'd have any interest in Jupiter's magnetic field as pertaining to climate change.

Who today linked to an old post: Philosophy of Community Self-Scrutiny from May 7, 2020. In which he applies Sturgeon Law to the set he calls 'our community' ( I'm suspicious when I see that word).

I think the analysis applies to our little corner of the Big Bad Web. Infighting weakens everyone.

Plus which, at timestamp 2:44 he goes off on a tangent about Microsoft patent W02020060606, to implant a chip that would use human bodys' biological energy to mine cryptocurrency. Yikes!

I Google can't find the thread where you said you're simpatico toward Scott Adams. Today he is talking about pre-programming the simulation. His examples are religion, physicists, some doctor Wiseman, and the power of positive thinking.

He doesn't realize he is restating Robert Anton Wilson's concept of reality tunnels.

Well, it wasn't long ago I admitted how similar SA and I are. I'll not deny that.

The line between benevolence and malevolence is razor thin. The first line in The Departed said something like "I never wanted to be a product of my environment, I wanted my environment to be a product of me". That's me, and my environment is only as good as me, which leaves much to be desired. Order must be maintained legitimately, or I will impose it on my terms. The last thing I want is my terms, because that means all other alternatives have failed and responsibility has fallen on my inadequate shoulders.
