Maybe the increased moisture held in the atmosphere and higher energy will create more lightning, thereby increasing ozone production? What if we get a very big and beautiful ozone layer?

Lock up the leftist eco terrorists.
Make the ozone layer great again?

Heard something somewhere that the ozone layer was repairing itself, good as new soon. Was surprised, figured it was clickbait, moved on.

I couldn't find info on how long it takes surface ozone to reach the stratosphere, but I recall from grade school it might be many years. I also couldn't find how much surface ozone is produced vs how much is created in the stratosphere via UV.
The impression I got was that the vast majority of ozone is created in the stratosphere by UV. I would expect the rate of production to be fairly linear since oxygen concentration and UV radiation are relatively stable.
How much extra UV reaches the surface when there is an ozone "hole"? How harmful is it, and can I mitigate the effect by simply being more diligent about sunscreen use?

Recently someone associated Bjørn Lomborg [and two others] to some 'religion' (contravening forum rules BTW). So when Russell Brand gave him some exposure I was interested.
2:24 before he can get a word in edgewise.
The problem is bigger than our solutions.
Russell Band says there is no faith, or belief, anymore.
Innovation [is greater than] impoverishment. There's your incorporation, right there.

I haven't listened to Brand in about 5 years. He plays the role of uninformed inquisitor nicely. Scott mentioned his personality is too all consuming, and I see it here. What's with the vagrant look also? Looking like you can't afford a haircut doesn't excuse being a millionaire whilst decrying the millionaires.
Of course, I have to agree with his sentiment that lack of faith and belief is the root of many problems. That's what folks who lack technical understanding often have a heightened awareness of.
Don't know how this is a 15 minute video. Brand used to have like 90 minute videos. Short clips are for small thinkers.

Afaik, ozone issue was a hole somewhere over one of the magnetic poles. Sucks if you're a penguin, I suppose, or even a russian in a gulag.

In the days of the original ozone hole, Sherwood Rowland and Mario Molina's UCLA research discovered that the chorine in the atmosphere continues to destroy the ozone molecules for up to 150-years before atmospheric chemistry removes it.
Adding ozone would be akin to rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Climate change belivers are nothing more than a dooms day cult.

They make all these over lapping, contradicting dire end of the world predictions. Nothing happens, they pretend like they never said, maybe make up some excuse if anything and cough up a new end of times date.
