Oh I forgot about the carbon dioxide sequestration project that takes CO2 straight out of the ground from natural gas wells in Colorado and new mexico, pipes it into depleted oil wells in Texas causing the oil well to produce once again.

I bought 50 more bags or 1 ton of tractor supply coal.
It's not like it goes bad.
In coal we trust.

Except for the bagging, isn't bulk cheaper, unless you dont have sources or prefer the bags

I mean, they would be 40 lb bags. Seems about right for ease of handling.

I have looked everywhere, I can't find bulk unless I want to drive 8 hours each way.
Tractor supply coal is still high grade anthracite, nearly graphite.

The legendary clean coal.
Bituminous is on the spectrum from Anthracite to Peat.

Clean coal plant imploded. A very poetic end to a stupid idea.

https://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › Lignite
Lignite, often referred to as brown coal, is a soft, brown, combustible, sedimentary rock formed from naturally compressed peat.It has a carbon content around 25-35%, and is considered the lowest rank of coal due to its relatively low heat content.Lignite is mined all around the world and is used almost exclusively as a fuel for steam-electric power generation.

Called it. Even if they capture the CO 2, they would still be left with a small but growing mountain of dirt.

Peat was IIRC a good substrate to make agricultural fertilizer.
