For me it's some combination of natural gas, wind and coal, with a little bit of solar some days.
For me it's correct design, insulation, airflow and concavity with paint that radiates heat directly to space. With wind-powered ventilation and auxiliary HVAC.

Proof that you can't let 3rd parties dictate your energy.

Hope that Germany can get there coal plant's back on line. I wonder what numbskulls took their plants down and scrapped or sold key parts. Hope they can have staffing available.

Living 50° N means that winters get cold.

This is the only logical conclusion of anti nuclear climate alarmism.
Nothing got noticeably "greener" and no one is any better off except for the elitists pushing this scam.
The only noticeable accomplishment was poor people got poorer. Pretty sure that was the point all along.

You need a constituency that remains relatively poor, who believes that the key to their prosperity lay outside of personal agency. You also need a smug constituency that believes they have helped others by convincing them they are incapable without them, and their generosity with others resources.

The inevitable outcome of reliance on benevolent geniuses is always disfunction.

"electricity from coal-fired power plants increased in the first six months of 2022. A 17.2% rise from the the same period last year."

When all else fails and you're stupid enough to turn off you nuclear power plants, coal to save the day.

I find building and bridge collapses fascinating.
If engineering stuff bores you, then move along.
Personally I kind of hate lambeams, I suppose if you can keep them perfectly dry at all times they're acceptable.
You may be wondering what this has to do with coal?
This is why we need cheap, readily available high quality steel. What makes abundant cheap high quality steel?
Coal.

We don't need to regress back to wooden bridges.

Can't eat wooden bridges.

Herd animals create farmland. Do you trust Bill Gates?

Russel Brand showed Fox Business interviewing Will Harris [farmer]Oh F*ck, He's At It Again*

It's highly entertaining watching the interviewer get schooled. But Russell Brand comments on the farmer having a long shoehorn hanging behind him. If you look closer it's a shutted window, barred, with a sawn-off baseball bat on a thong.

Try to explain it to the self-proclaimed "environmentalists" who oppose fiercely to industrial development, yet at the same time pretend to care about Amazon
