VERDICT
Missing context. Users are sharing an outdated story without the context that DuckDuckGo has eliminated a gap in its tracker-blocking feature that previously allowed some Microsoft tracking scripts on third-party websites to load.

Yeah, but I don't care about people knowing my search history and unsuccessfully targeting ads to me. I want to search for "how many Elbonians were arrested for hate crimes in 2022", and not get results for how many white folks were.

It's hard to ad someone who searches ghost gun stuff, silencers, stuff about 40mm grenade launchers and memes.
I might buy a memory card with all the groomer memes that Google, twitter, instagram and reddit disappeared.
