Finished my trip today with a personal best of 67.01 mpg on the last tank...

Adding a warm intake and increasing the grill block to 80% looks like a keeper...

Steering is not bad, I have gotten use to it except when in tight spots, so I just avoid the tight places and park out farther I need to find some time when the car is hot to do ABA testing. I am thinking 1-2 MPG steady state driving. with P&G I notice I am getting to speed a bit faster/ less lugging on the engine during speed up. I think this morning I was in a bit of a hurry and drove more on auto pilot with more pressure on the gas during accelerations, coincidence, but its one I want to try to repeat.

the Nose, LRR tires and a back belly pan all happened within 2 weeks (same tank) so its a crap shoot but the few days between give me a starting place. I would say 1-3 MPG at 55mph. the difference at highway speeds is very noticeable. the car seems to float (no air drag at all) and I can get 50-55 MPG at 65-60 MPH.

The nose (and teeth) has increased my looks and thumbs up by a factor of 8 so make one! worst case it just adds to the "look" of the car

Make both, the nose can help make the front skirts smoother flow.

my average speed per tank is recorded on the SG. I did not look at the trip though (not sure if I have one). time from home to work was 49 min no red lights -so about the same as normal (+- 2min). its a ~22 mile trip so ~26 MPH average. the last few tanks when i looked were between 25 and 31 MPH average. my best tank was about 32 MPH average but that was on two long trips.

got more of the lights done still having a issue with lights vs turn signals but I can fix that once I get some time (hopefully tomorrow after work)

Okay today I noticed for the first time just how much time I was spending driving around looking for a parking spot...I drove for a full 45 minutes today (!) No wonder my gas mileage is ****. Gotta plan a route to check all the closer possible parking spots around, and no more circling around.

Thanks WS. The Probe has a pretty high stagnation point so I might do the nose before skirts. Problem being that I only have 16' of aluminum bar to use, and the headlight conversion must be done first. But for skirts I just need hinges and springs... hmm.

Hypermiler problems!

270 miles and still indicated above half a tank. I think this'll be a 500 mile tank. 45mpg, mayyyybe better? I haven't been P&EOC'ing or P&G'ing. Just coasting down hills and to stoplights, sometimes EOC'ing to stop lights. So it's a lot less effort now, which I really like. And fewer angry motorists. In a perfect world I'd be getting 50mpg tanks driving like this.

A friend of mine does a lot of computer stuff. He said he could build an MPGuino for $60. Have to get the headlights done and save up for that. So much to do, so little money.

Darn, tracked my mileage on my phone today. Torque isn't totally accurate and goofs sometimes, but it tells me I was getting 22mpg on a short trip :/ Those darned cold starts.

Wahoo, averaged 38mpg according to Torque on a 40 mile drive up to San Francisco at 65mph from a cold start and 7 miles of local roads! Pulse and glide works wonders on the hilly I280.

Needle drops below half tank and just plummets.

At 380 miles I'm anxious that I won't hit 500 miles. The wheel bearing is going so that can't help.
