Ive been working on that. (Doing a lot of cardio lately )

And Ive tried different ways of going up the hill. (Speed/RPM wise)
Sadly though the speed is only 25mph but most people go 40-ish.
(its not worth the $100+ ticket however)

Cool youre running the marathon. Not the first time I take it?
I lowered the LP holder by rotating 180 degrees, then notching using a pair of avaition tin snips. Also had to use longer bolts.

I have run 6 marathons so far this year.

If your top speed is 25 I can tell you that the HCH does not get great FE in that range. Seems the sweat spot is around 60 - 65 mph for me.

The IMA has about 8 modes that it goes through from stopped to cruising speed. So it may be your in a mode that is not as FE.

Really looking forward to the warm temps on Kona since I shoveled 5" of snow today!

Cheers!

I knew about the LP flip but not the longer bolts.

Have fun in Kona. Its honestly too warm for me there.

Nice log Dave

Got 39.8mpg on my last fill!

Ill be doing an air filter change soon and then logging another tank to see the difference.

Then Ill do the oil change with the same process.

I changed to a K&N about a year ago, seems to help.

I have noticed that in the past month I seem to have more power, I wonder if there is a learning curve from the latest IMA reprogramming.

Also I just bought both shop manuals for the 2006 civic hybrid on Ebay. If you need me to look something up or scan a page, let me know.

Leaving for Hawaii on Tuesday!!! WooHoo can't wait to feel the warm sand between my toes!!

Doesn't coast well? Check brakes, make sure if the tires were replaced that it's got LRR's on, and watch your pressure!

Does it have all of the underbody panels its supposed to?

Installed new air filter. Old one was pretty dusty.

New Record: 40.35mpg!

Next on list: Oil Change

Tires: old & worn likely have lower rolling resistance. But less grip. And you have lots of rain, so...

Congrats on the new record!
