Trying to run cars on E15 will be the least of our problems. Just wait until you try to run your chainsaw, lawnmower, or outboard on the stuff. The small engine repair shops are going to love what E15 does for their bottom line. And the problem will only get worst as the years go by as fewer and fewer gas station continue to offer E0 and E10 since most stations don't have enough storage tanks to offer more than "E" variant at a time.

Blender pump is the solution, only need tanks just like the already have, one 87, one 93, and one E85(instead of E10 tank).

Not really sure if need 93 tank is needed, is 93 ever made without Ethanol?

I know I used to have to buy 105 ocatane racing gas for a dirt bike I had, had to go sign that I was going to use for off road use only. I recall seeing a similar pump in MN since all road gas is E10 up there. Any other states have off-road gas?

I don't run any gasoline lawn equipment anymore except a tiller (I LOVE all my electric equipment ), but my father in law has had great luck using stabil. They now have a formula for ethanol mixed gas. He said everything runs great when he mixes that in, so he uses it with every tank.

I think I know how to remove the alcohol from gas.
Will have to try it out some time.

It's really easy to remove, add water & mix, gas will be at top. I think the only issue is long time storage in small engines, just stabil every gallon of gas or empty them anytime you won't be running next week or month, I know weeks run into months just just get the habit of just putting enough in the tank to empty it. Or have one like my tiller that leaks everything out, pops off first pull every time, I still just dribble gas in and run it out.

I'm with Frank, run it, at end of season run them empty. Never a problem for me. 5 dirt bikes, 4 riding mowers, chainsaw, weed eater + 2 push mowers, I gave 2 more push mowers away and they popped right off too.

I don't have to worry about storing my engines.we don't have a winter long enough to worry about. also google search "removing ethanol from gas" and the first thing is a thread here on EM.

thats why i have a truck and drive around once a month on land fill pick up day. I find all types of small engines. take apart, repair, then sell them to the pawn shop. easy money. or if i cant make the repairs cheaply then they go in my aluminum pile and start up my smelter.

Even if you don't care about the people, it is still driving up the price of anything that is made from grain or fed by grain. Also, if people are on the bottom of the priority list, then it becomes a purely economic issue. Only it doesn't make economic sense either, because it only works price wise because of heavy government subsidies. So let's make fuel artificially cheaper with other people's tax money. No wonder our federal deficit is reaching critical mass. If you want to breathe cleaner air, move away from a megalopolis. While I am in favor of research into biofuel, the current situation is a scientific breakthrough or two away from making sense.
