The Corolla is now $1,100 and the seller added "small exhaust leak makes it sound like a lil race car but runs great."

It really depends on where the exhaust leak is. Fumes aren't a joke.

2006 Yaris for $1,100 at a dealership in Prescott (not really)

I heard a radio ad that this dealership was having a huge used car sale, with cars from a dollar, so I looked into it--as much as possible.

I took the time to make a nice table, but for some reason the forums put about a hundred blank lines between the image and the table, so I turned the table into an image.

I still do not have any idea how much these cars cost. The bottom says "Offers do not include taxes, title, dealer doc fees of $399.50, 3m package [?!], and security deposit. All offers on approved credit."

Blah blah blah.

As far as I can tell, the sales tax on cars is the same as almost everything. I do not care to try to figure out how much they charge for the title. Hopefully the 3M package is an option. Deposit, though?

It opens at nine. Somewhere I saw "No camping!" I just wonder how soon people would be there and which would be most popular.

There is only one Toyota, though, and zero Hondas. I do not think that I would drive any of the rest of the vehicles unless I got an awesome deal.

I dunno, it looks to me like there might be an Explorer and an F-250 with your name on them. Imagine how many head gaskets you could carry in the back of an F-250.

Funny how they don't mention how many miles are on 'em.

....

Or you could come to Toronto and convert $1500 American Freedom Dollars into $1995 Canadian Semi-Socialist Dollars and drive home in a 2014 base Mirage with 239k km on it...

That's 149k miles. Wind up windows, manual locks and no AC though. You good with a beaded seat cover?

I have most of a beaded seat cover on each Honda, but I would leave it up here when I drive to Phoenix six months out of the year?

How hard is it to import a car from Canada to the U.S.?

The only information they gave was year, make, model, and sometimes submodel.

These cars are not listed on their site. I believe their ad said the cars were half off, but the cheapest vehicle was about $9,000.

It looks like the Corolla sold. I wanted to look at it when I had time, but I have too much to do, and inadequate time management.

Are you allowed to buy one of those over here?

You mean buy a Mirage in the States? (Yes.)

Or buy a used Mirage from Canada and import it to the US? (Probably not, because it's not old enough, or some such thing... I'm not really familiar with the import rules.)

https://ecomodder.com/forum/member-war_wagon.html seemed knowledgeable, but his last post was on 06-07-2019.

Perhaps a DM would get through?

2000 Acura 3.2 for $100 (no it isn't), 2001 Accent for $300, 1996 Civic CX $700, 2006 Galant $1,300

I need to start linking cars when I see the ad. I keep having difficulty finding them afterward. The Acura has been for sale for a while and may have expired, but this morning the owner dropped the price from $600 to $100. I pulled up the ad when I received the notification, but I cannot find it now. I asked the owner if she sold it and she responded no. She previously told me "It will [run], needs a new fuel line. Been cut. Tire rod and two new tires."

I think this is the only picture they posted:
I was going to ask a mobile mechanic to see how much work it needed, but I am waiting for the ad to reappear or something.
Oh, the owner said that she is selling it for $250, she just put $100 "because I needed to put something."

The truth? Why isn't the truth an option?

Here is the only picture of the Accent:

190,000 miles and simultaneously a manual and an automatic, a hatchback, and a sedan. They say it starts, but doesn't run. Would you rather fix up an Acura or an Accent?
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...7162041656061/

Now, this is a hatchback!

A quarter-million miles on a bad engine. What kind of gauge is that?
https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...8576401697938/
Here is a remanufactured engine for $489: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Honda-Civic...oAAOSwhOdXolDn
V-TEC! Why is that too hard for everyone to remember!
Where does one find all of those legendary low-mileage JDM engines? I couldn't find anything!

Here is the Galante:

There are several more pictures and all the rest look great. It seems to have nice features, but it needs a new bumper, windshield, and headlight. 152,000 miles. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...1854768556805/

Only the Civic really belongs here, but while I am sharing one local car...

I have not even checked Craigslist or OfferUp lately!

OfferUp is being a pain. I ask for cars in my ZIP and it shows Phoenix.

A mechanic is supposed to meet me tomorrow to look at it.
