I've got two cars running right now. That's a novelty for me.

I recently saw a thread on PriusChat of an 02 Prius with 650k miles just had the original battery give out. If only Honda hybrids had as good of a battery system as Toyota did.

I've noticed if you keep the battery about 60% on the Prius when you park it and when you start it up and do pulses at 2500 rpm instead of allowing the car to burn through the precious battery in the first 30 seconds the battery does a lot better. I'm at 170k on the oem 12v battery and HV battery. I did notice that when i gave the car to my dad for a week he really leaned on the battery pretty hard and mileage was down 10% for about two weeks and then it came back to normal.

85 Chevette with electric motor conversion. Was setup for 20 6 volt batteries. It was one of 5 built i was told. No title. If it’s listed. It’s available
I have t put batteries in it. I don’t know if it runs
I messaged them. I always wanted a chevette. I also wanted an electric car. Maybe I can work something out.

Why not? IIRC the downfall of the Chevette was an unsleeved aluminum engine block. That's probably the best thing that could happen to one.

An electric 'vette! Hot dog!

What do you do about the title? I regularly see cars for sale without a title. I just make a face and move on.

Vermont loophole. As long it's not stolen and older than 15 years old it works. Thats what I did with the civic. I'm in Indiana but it's got a vermont plate in my name. I haven't transferred it to Indiana yet.

Seems to be sold. Can't find it when I follw the link. Would be a very cool project car. Imaagine a late 1970s Detroit electric converted with modern hardware and batteries. Unique.

My first car had no title (generally call it the "ownership" here).

Had to swear an affadavit in front of a justice of the peace that it was legally purchased.

Actual first car... 1964 Pontiac Catalina Ventura, 389 2 bbl. $750
