I saw an ad on TV the other night. First time I've ever heard of the Elio.
Just looking at some review type videos on youtube.. Seems like a cool little car.
Hope it becomes a real product. 4th Quarter 2016?

That's the impression you get watching ads on TV?
Let's try Wordpress bloggers:
https://edwardmd.wordpress.com/2016/...1-stock-split/
Elio Motors Informs of 1:500 Stock Split
Quote:
As far as I’m concerned, I trust nothing from Paul Elio, or Elio Motors anymore. IMO, I have been scammed and they are fraudulent thieves.
In fact, I expect that upon rereading my car purchase agreement, on page 39 in fine print, “Elio car’, shown and puchased for $6,800 is an ‘Elio scale model car on a keychain’, actual drivable Elio $68,000. Elio won’t have to sell that many, and a contract is a contract.
When dealing with Elio, no matter what is said, or written, you better check EVERY Word from page 1 to 1,000, because the real facts could be anywhere.

If you have to read any document "actively looking" for deception, you're reading the wrong documents, since every word is by design legally deceptive.
Seen two TV ads within the last month or two, now read about the sketchy stock split.

If you're "actively looking" for deception, you're doing business with the wrong people.
I'm not saying don't read or pay attention, but...

Prototypes again.
Can't we just whip up some jigs, weld up a bunch of tube frames, slot in some Kohler diesels and call it good? That would work.
Just used the Elio potential gas savings calculator, it says I could save over $102 per year. Woohoo, dinner's on me.

2 cents a mile for the vaporware Elio. 2.45 cents per mile for my Mirage, and I can haul the wife and both parents around and still get right at 55 mpg. 320 years combined age in the same car and a 10/100 warranty, with room (barely) for one more.
12000 miles would save me $60 in gas.
First post in this thread 1/4/13.

At the end of it all, it's not electric.
