What they don't mention is that, for every Pasteur or Edison or Ford, there are a thousand failures history has cast aside. Tenacity means nothing if the stars don't align.

Having a "great idea" is common enough. Selling it is not easy. The secret to success in marketing is not bamboozling the world to buy your idea of a great product. You find what people need and want at an acceptable level of quality and price then work hard to provide it. A good day selling is getting an order while making seven sales calls. For $6800 you will get a powered velomobile or a lightweight motorcycle but not a minicar.

Elio Motors says they will deliver 100 vehicles to fleet customers 4th quarter 2016:
Elio Motors delays most of its trike deliveries to 2017
Deliveries to regular customers are delayed until 2017.
